Studio Dénoue accessories are made in Belgium, using European materials. All materials used are OEKO-TEX® certified; meaning they were manufactured without the use of harmful chemicals. Metal pieces are nickel-free. Each accessory is crafted with care and attention by Kirstin herself. Choose your size based on your waist measurement. Take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around the smallest part of your waist, so that the tape is snug but not cutting into your skin. If you are on the cusp, choose the smaller size. Due to the adjustable straps, each Vela size contains a wide range of measurements: XS/S (EU sizes 32-38): 51-71cm M/L (EU sizes 40-46): 71-91cm XL/2XL (EU sizes 48-52): 91-111cm For custom sizing or wholesale inquiries, contact Kirstin directly at studiodenoue{at}gmail{dot}com. Tips for wearing Vela: Vela needs something to clip onto, whether it’s leg garters or stockings, to be worn as intended. The hook goes in the back, above the criss-cross straps; to put Vela on, you will need to step into it and pull it up onto your waist/hips. The tag sits on the right side of the wearer and the hook points down. Play around with the lengths of the straps to find your preferred fit and look; the criss-cross straps in the back can be worn looser, as dangling accessories, or tighter, to emphasize your backside. Don’t leave the garter clips undone when storing Vela.
